A few months back, I entered Isle of Ancthia into the Global Ebook Awards. Just for fun. I didn't think anything of it, and certainly never imagined I'd get so much as an honorable mention. But here we are! Isle of Ancthia has won GOLD in the fantasy/contemporary category. Gold. This world that I spent hours dreaming of, weeks immersed in, and endless months agonizing over was good enough to win the top award. I've doubted myself every step of the way. Despite so many people, including complete strangers, saying how great my story was, deep down I've always questioned whether it truly was good. Mediocre even. That seed of doubt is still there (and likely always will be). But for the first time ever, I don't doubt myself the same way I used to. I am proud of my story. And grateful for everyone who has given this story a chance along the way.

Thank you to all my readers and to everyone who has helped make this story shine <3
